Every day things happen that throw off our plans. Weddings get rained on, events get canceled and places get snowed in. We accept and expect Mother Nature of being unpredictable, but that doesn’t mean we are always prepared. We are not always kind to her nor each other. At times I question our humanity and where it has gone, especially with everything going on in the world. But this weekend, my hope in humanity has been restored.
This is an open letter to Ian Grillot. Grillot came to the rescue when a very hateful man started harassing Srinivas Kuchibhotla and Alok Reddy Madasani.
Everyone is getting together, buying presents, cooking meals, and getting up close and personal. It can be a stressful time for most people, however, those suffering with anxiety, depression, or any other form of mental illness have a particularly difficult challenge to face.
There are very few Americans who are unaware of the fact that their homes stand upon land stolen from this country’s indigenous peoples.
