Rida Fatima Alvi is a high school graduate from the D.C. metro area. She plans to study Public Policy at the University of Maryland in the fall. Rida is passionate about American public education and serves as the student representative on her district’s Board of Education. She loves travel and art and hopes to share her unique experiences with other young brown girls.
