Pranjal Jain is a 17-year-old activist, social justice organizer and badass beti. She believes strongly in fighting for women’s rights, immigrant’s rights, and in showing others the beauty of embracing themselves. She immigrated here from India when she was six months old and lived in the United States undocumented for the first seven years of her life. Instead of shying away from her past and the dual identities she has grown up with as an Indian-American, she uses her story to empower herself and others. She continues to organize rallies and other social justice-related events in her community and hopes to expand her reach. Pranjal plans on running for office one day and changing the world!
