Fabliha Anbar

Fabliha Anbar is a writer based in New York City and is the Editor in Chief of Sorjo Magazine, an online publication for and by the unconventional with over 60,000+ readers around the world. Her work has been featured on Teen Vogue, Broadly, Gal-Dem, and more. She is the youth coordinator for Arts & Democracy and her main focus is cultivating a safe environment for immigrant youth to creatively express themselves through art. Fabliha is also the co-founder of the South Asian Queer + Trans Collective, a community that amplifies the voices of the South Asian and Indo- Caribbean lgbtq+ diaspora. She utilizes the many facets of her identity in her writing and believes storytelling is a powerful tool to heal souls.
