It’s finally that time of year! We’re transitioning to the autumn season, but we can’t quite get into the complete fall look just yet. This is the perfect blazer season! Throw on a blazer over your summer top to get a little more wear out of your summer clothes before you completely put them away. And we have that weather that’s chilly in the morning, but can sometimes get sunny and hot by the afternoon. Throw on the blazer in the morning and if it gets too hot, take it off!
Of course, you cannot deny that nothing looks sharper than a blazer. There is literally no easier way to look put together with so little effort. It’s my go to article of clothing for those days I run out of time to get ready or don’t have enough energy to come up with an outfit.
Blazers can range from $20-$40 depending on where you get them from. I’ve actually scored a couple for a steal just by searching around and waiting for deals. I definitely recommend grabbing one whenever you see one at a decent price, because sometimes they can be hard to find. You can never have too many blazers so don’t think twice when you find a good deal.
In this outfit, I paired a cream blazer that I got from H&M for about $20 with a floral button down from Forever 21. This floral button down was a steal and is sheer and light, so it’s great for the summer. Throwing the blazer on top made it more fall appropriate. Dark green pants and grey wedges completed the look! And because the whole look was so neutral, I put in a pop of color with the mustard bag.
